Our Founder’s Story
The foundation of AC English Academy begins with Ana Karina Collazo Guerra, an English teacher and marketing specialist based in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. With more than 15 years of combined experience in teaching and marketing, Ana Karina has built her career around one clear purpose: helping others communicate with confidence and clarity.
Her academic background includes a degree in Marketing, with a specialization in Digital and Print Media Design, from Ibero León. Since 2013, she has taught at Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus León, where she has guided students through engaging, meaningful learning experiences that connect language with real life.
Alongside her work in education, Ana Karina also serves as a freelance designer and content creator, helping businesses connect with their audiences in ways that are both visually compelling and strategically effective. Her passion for language learning, creative design, and communication continues to shape everything she does.
As a bilingual professional, with English at C2 level and Spanish as her native language, she understands firsthand how powerful language can be when it opens doors, builds bridges, and creates new opportunities.
